Hi there. Is it hot enough for you yet? I can't remember the last time we were slammed so hard into summer like this. I am not liking it at all. It's been like 5 code red heat alert days in a row and my asthmatic child is suffering a lot this year. We had some happy times though, she got through graduation and we had a big party last weekend. We got her registered for McDaniel College. Now if anybody has a job for a starving college student- please send it my way!
When it's too hot to go out- it is a very good time to stay in and create stuff! I thought I would share some of my newest designs with you. I hope you like them.
This 4 page kit is available starting Monday June 28 at Create It Crafts in Glen Burnie, MD. It is being taught there Monday at 6:30 or is available by kit. They can be picked up at the store or mailed or I will be happy to meet you if you live in the area. The store phone number is: (410) 553-0583

Happy Spring! What great weather it's been lately, especially when I look back at my last post in February and the mountains of snow.
I have new kits available at Create It Crafts in Glen Burnie. There is also a Basic Grey class on Monday at 6:30. It is yummy. We are using Sugar Rush in non Valentiney way. There are 2 great layouts for $25, available as kits if you don't want to come and play. I am always happy to snag a kit for you and meet you somewhere. I do not have to work so I will be there to help out with the class- I would love to see you! Here are the pictures:

Hi all. The snow is finally starting to melt a little and I am really wishing for an early spring! I just wanted to let you know I have decided to do a much requested Cricut class at the Bowie ACMoore. This is for you people who still have your Cricut in the box or for people who just have lots of questions they would like answered. There are a million things you can do with your Cricut and we will explore lots of them. We will make some simple projects and hopefully have some fun!

Well since we are being bombarded for the 2nd time in a week with a 20" blizzard, I thought this would be a good time to get myself a new home for the bloggie.
We actually got 48" total snow this week, which is more than I ever hope to see again. In between shoveling and cleaning up the snow mess I have been busy designing some new classes. As most of you know, I had to rearrange my life a bit to suit my employers. They have issues with teaching in other stores, but I can still design the classes and I can still teach at crops or private venues. I also would like to start an Etsy shop or something similar in order to sell my artwork and scrapbook kits, so stay tuned for that. For the time being I would like to share some upcoming events. Since I have been doing a Basic Grey class for the last 3 years, starting way back at ReCollections, I want to try and carry that on. It will be a lot harder now that I have to compete with my last venue and also with the BG kits that they are offering themselves, but we will give it a go and see what happens. After all, you can never have enough Basic Grey- right? I know I can't!

These layouts feature Basic Grey's Origins line and fun techniques like folded paper ribbon, flocking, Stickles and more. We are also stamping, embossing, inking and lots of layering. Check out that cute little clip on the right- love that!
So this class will be taught at Cropmania on March 6 at the Ocean City crop (They still have a few spots left!) and Kim at Create It Crafts has generously offered to work with my limitations and she will be offering it at a Basic Grey class where she will be the teacher and I will be able to come and join the meeting as a guest. You will be provided with full directions and generously sized pictures, so if you would rather have a kit, that can be arranged. You can put it together at home or in her studio where you can use her supplies. You can have it mailed to you for the cost of postage. We have moved it back a week because of the weather, so it will held on February 22 from 6:30- 8:30.
